This is great food for thought and takes a lot of BS out of the “tone” discussions. But do not forget that tone is just a part of the experience and just a part of the expressiveness of an instrument.
How low you can set the action, how the guitar translates your attack, touch, slurs, bends (yes, also boomer bends) is a huge part of the story. And here the neck, the frets, the strings and tuning stability come in hard and very importantly!!
